My Pictures as promised

Ok, yesterday I posted some pictures from a friend of mine and today i said I would post some of mine. Here are 2 that I really like. One is one I tried to take of the moon while smoking. You can see faces in the smoke if you look at it. The next picture is of smoke and a tree when I was in the mountains, last winter.

I want to write a book

A while back I found this website with a free download called YWriter. I haven’t tried it yet but apparently it’s a free software that will help you write a novel. Here is the list of features from the website:

Organise your novel using a ‘project’.

Add a summary to each file, showing the scenes in each chapter.

I got this picture off of www.weather.com and filled in a black dot in NC where I’m at. Looks Like Ernesto is heading right to me but I doubt we’ll get anything more than some rain. I’ll let you know how it goes and maybe even take a rain picture.

Pictures I like

I was talking to my friend Tara in Louisiana and I sent her some pictures of mine. She then sent me some of hers and she has an amazing talent for taking pictures of sunsets. I wanted to post them on here for my readers. I love these pictures and I hope you will too. Tomorrow I will post some of my own photos in here (and yes, the header pictures are mine). Let me know what you think of these.

Decisions

Ok, I’m playing with my Fantasy Football Roster and I have a decision to make. My 2 starting wide receiver slots are filled with Steve Smith and Keyshawn Johnson of the almighty Panthers. I have a third slot where I can put a WR or a RB. I have to decide between Mark Clayton, WR of the Ravens, Joe Jurevicious WR of the Browns, Jerry Porter, Oaklands WR, Charles Rogers of Detroit or Running Backs Deangelo Williams of Carolina or Warrick Dunn of Atlanta. Williams is a bacckup so I’m kind of hesitant to start him and Dunn is playing Carolina (and their awesome defense) in week 1 so I’m kinda hesitant oin him as well. If you come across this and have any suggestions for me please post a comment and let me know.

Job Search Update

Ok, Last week I interviewed for a position at CSX, the railroad. I found out today that I didn’t get the position. I am extremely disappointed but I will continue the job search.

New TV Discovery

Every January I get excited Because “24″ is back on and every May I go into withdrawal because the season ends. Fox has recently helped me out by bringing a new show “Vanished” on to the Fall Lineup. I’ve only caught the first 2 episodes but it seems really cool so far. I thought it was gonna be like “Without a Trace” but it seems much better. It seems like a cross between that and “24″ with a cliffhanger at the end of each episode. Theres only a few people in it I recognize. Ming-Na from “ER” and “The Single Guy” plays an FBI agent and Rebecca Gayheart plays a reporter. It even comes on Monday night in “24″ s timeslot at 9:00 pm Eastern. I will tell you more about it as I watch more episodes.

My Team

with less than 1 week til the NFL season starts, I’m pretty happy with my Fantasy Football team. Some key personnel on my team are: Steve Smith, Alge Crumpler, Panthers Defense, and Kicker Mike Vanderjagt (hopefully Dallas will suck enough for him to get alot of field goals). I’ll update you on Tuesday with how I did in my first week ever of fantasy football.

 

5 days to go

One day, this blog will have a domain name (any suggestions) and an actual theme but for now it is just random thoughts about whats going on in my life. For example, I decided to start walking to get in better shape and walked 2.1 miles today. Anyway, I’m excited because theres 5 days til college football season starts. I’m excited because my favorite team UNC is on the way to becoming a great team. This year the tarheels have a top 25 recruiting class and some exciting and talented new assistant coaches including Offensive Coordinator Frank Cignetti who had 4 successful years at Fresno State. Next year we have also one of the best High School Quarterbacks in the country coming.
