Hey, I know some of you out there host your own wordpress blog and was just curious what webhost you used. I already have a domain name registere www.willifordblog.com. I was reading and wordpress.org is a whole different thing and I want to use it. Apparently theres a nofollow plugin you need to turn off with Pay Per Post. The questions I have are:
1. Can I transfer my blog to a wordpress.org hosted website one?
2. I want to do that and put it under the willifordblog.com (unless any of you can think of a better name.)
I appreciate any assistance you can give me on this

I joined Pay per Post tonight. I’ve been reading about them for a while now and have even read blogs of many of their members. I’ve emailed with a few of them and have included
links to their blogs on my second page (check them out here). Now I just wish that I had started my blog a long time ago so I could start making money. My blog will turn 90 days old on November 27 and hopefully I’ll have more readers by then. Currently I have around 25 views a day. Thank you to all of you guys who have added me to your blogroll. I look forward to chatting with you in the forums.

Ok, so I was reading a blog that I like to check out every week or so, Simple Kind of Life and apparently she’s participating in the 3 Day Mom where they are gonna walk 60 miles in 3 days to raise money for breast cancer research. As a man we don’t think about Breast Cancer because it’s very rare for us to get it. Unfortunately though, we are the ones that lose our moms, sisters, wives, girlfriends, and grandmothers to this disease so it does affect us. You should definitely check out the 3 day mom blog and if you can donate some money that would be really cool but if not there is another way to help. Fellow Pay Per Post member BrettBum has pledged to donate to their cause for everyone that links to the website and also another donation for everyone that links to his at MavenMapper. Check it out, it’s a good cause and Thanks Colleen for making me aware of the walk.

I live in the southern part of NC so I’m gonna comment on the gas prices here. I’m sure alot of you have noticed gas prices dropping in the last few months. I live across the street from a gas station so I notice the price drops regularly. I don’t know if the drop is over but I noticed that yesterday gas was 2.15 for regular and today it’s at 2.17. I loved the fact that it was dropping so much but now I’m worried that the prices are heading back up again. Let me know if gas prices where you’re at start heading back up. I just figured the Republicans we’re pulling strings to keep them low til election day so they wouldn’t get swept out of Congress as public opinion has been going away from them. I hope the prices stay low.

Ok, so last week I wrote about Dateline catching Internet predators who try to meet 13-15 year old girls. You’re in luck because tonight on NBC they are doing another one. It’s at 9 eastern but it might be different if you are in another timezone. I’ll update this post after the show. I just finished watching Dateline and it was really good tonight. They were in California busting everyone. They had a marine, a guy with a penis pump in his truck, and an old man looking to hook up with a 13 year old boy. Tonight though the cops went to the guys houses and offices and confiscated computers. Next week they’re gonna get a doctor who is respected in his community…haha, he even starts crying..I can’t wait. Check out Datelines website, they’ve got some good information to protect your kids.
Teach your children to:· Think before they click: With whom are they chatting or e-mailing, what are they saying and how are they saying it? Will the person on the other end know they are joking? · Walk away from the computer and “Take 5” before responding to something that upsets them online · Avoid spreading rumors, assisting in cyberbullying or sharing private communications online. · Follow the golden rule of cyberspace: Don’t do anything online that you wouldn’t do in real life! Follow responsible safety practices yourself:
Install spyware and adware blocking software on your computer
Make sure you have a working firewall
Install anti-virus software and update it regularly
Take advantage of spam-blocking tools offered by your Internet provider or e-mail software

Ok, I haven’t posted much this week so I’ll update you on whats been happening. I am still taking army safety classes online in preparation for my next career. I am still going to class at night and made an 88 on my second test (80 before the curve so still decent nonetheless). I also got cleaned up a couple of times in Madden 07 on the xbox 360. I know you guys are probably bored reading this and I apologize. Maybe once I go back to work I’ll have interesting stuff to write. Oh yeah, I got an application to do hospital security so that will bring some interesting stories.

Immediately after Sundays loss to the Panther, Tampa Bay Quarterback underwent emergency surgery to remove his spleen. They aren’t sure when the injury occured but he did leave the game in the 3rd quarter but returned on the very next drive. He had a 2 yard touchdown run in the third quarter and was flipped into the endzone and came down hard on his ribs. It could’ve happened then. The team Doctor, Dr. Joseph Diaco said “Chris Simms suffered an injury to his spleen during (Sunday’s) game and was taken to the hospital. He underwent a spleenectomy. He’s in stable condition. Chris is doing well and we expect a full recovery.” Simms mom told NBC that he would be
hospitalized for a few days. I’m glad the Panthers won but I hate that Simms got hurt. The 2nd picture is Simms after a hit byPanthers Defensive End Al Wallace. I got this information from The Ledger Online site of The Lakeland, FL newspaper

What a day. The Panthers barely escaped. They started out by going up 20-7 in the first half and then blew the lead. They were saved by John Kasay’s 48 yard field goal with 2 seconds to go. Kasy connected on field goals of 51, 50, 49, and 48 today to give me 20 points in my fantasy football league. Steve Smith returned and had 112 yards but the day belonged to Keyshawn Johnson who had 97 yards with a receiving touchdown and a rushing one. Now if I can just get 10 points from Alge Crumpler and Warrick Dunn combined tomorrow night I’ll win my first fantasy football game.

Ok, so tonight I decided to look for computer deals. I’m at TigerDirect right now and heres what I have found so far: The A-Data 1 GB Flash Drive for 24 bucks, The D-Link wireless router for
5 bucks after a rebate, and a Acer Laptop with about 1.5 ghz, 256 mb RAM, 40 gb hard drive, and a CD-burner/DVD-Rom drive for 500 bucks. Not bad, you could upgrade the ram and still come out on top by alot. I’ve bought from TD before and I like it alot, especially since you can pay with PayPal. My only complaint with them is that I’ve clicked on ads on their site before and had monthly payments of about 10 bucks withdrawn from my checking account…I was highly pissed and got the money back.
Now, lets check out Surplus Computers, another website I check out occasionally. They have a 1 gb flash drive for 22 bucks but they don’t tell the brand name. I also found a hp photosmart digital camera, 3.2 mp for 55 bucks. I just found on there a 2 gb jump drive for 30
bucks…wow. You just need to check out the Hot Deals Page, Theres alot of stuff there.
