Fun Internet Stuff

Hello, it’s me again. I found a couple of neat Websites tonight while reading some of my favorite blogs. I was reading Cass Knits which is a neat blog by a new friend I’ve met since joining Pay Per Post. She was talking about another blog she does called Six Neat Things which is mainly stuff she finds online (kind of like I do occasionally) so of course I checked it out. She has found some really cool sites but my favorite one that she’s found is called “Jackson Pollock by Miltos Manetas “. You use your mouse to make abstract paintings and click the left mouse button to change colors. It was really cool. I enjoyed it and can tell that I will be back making more paintings, and checking nightly for her six neat things. Oh, and check out my painting. I was quite proud and may even upload it to wal-mart.com to get me a print of it.

My Thoughts or Just Rambling

Ok, once I decided to get serious about this blog I signed up with Technorati. I go there everyday and it never shows that my blog is updated. Now it says that I haven’t updated my blog in 21 days. Come on, you can just scroll down this page and see that I’ve added alot of stuff in the past 3 weeks. Theres instructions on adding a little code to automatically ping them. Unfortunately I think the instructions are for the wordpress.org blogs and not the free wordpress.com ones like this one. It shows how many people have links here and I thank all of you for that (most are my new Payperpost friends) If anyone has any idea how I can fix this I am open to suggestions. I do the “Update Ping” everyday but it doesn’t seem to help. Also, I found a website that lets you find your google pagerank to your site and even lets you add a little button (you can see my pagerank of 0 to te right) Also, if anyone has suggestions on how to get my pagerank higher than 0 it would be greatly appreciated.

Countdown to 24

Ok, I just found a 24 Trailer website and the first Season 5 trailer will be out on October 24. I can’t wait. I know Jack was kidnapped by the Chinese and last seen on a ship headed to China so I can’t wait to see how he escapes. Also, I am counting the days until January 14th when the new season begins. I have never been so excited about any show before like I am about 24. You can bet there will be weekly 24 updates here too by the way.

What Was I Thinking

You guys might get a kick out of this. Yesterday my best friend and I came up with the bright idea that we were gonna race to see who was the fastest runner. I know, I’m almost 33 and he’s 30 so we’re getting too old for this. Thats not the craziest part of it. Instead of running sprints in the yard or anything we decided to run in the parking lot next door. It was only about 40 yards so it wasn’t gonna be that bad right. Ok. About halfway through the race we were neck and neck and then I fell. Now I have bandaged palms, shoulder, and arm and some sore ribs. The palms are particularly nasty. Luclkily I don’t have to return to class til Thursday so hopefully I’ll be healed up enough to go without the bandages so I don’t look like the mummy. Anyway my fall was the objects of many jokes at my expense for the rest of the day as it should’ve been. Hope your saturday was better.
